Miracle mornings

If you want to achieve level 10 success in every area of your life, then you need to craft a morning routine that is going to help you create that level of success in your life.

Why? Because small wins repeated every day is what will lead to big wins and lasting change over time.

This is why many millionaires, top athletes, and movie stars are all early birds and get more done before most people have even brushed their teeth.

In the book “The Miracle Morning,” Hal Elrod says,

“How you wake up each day and your morning routine (or lack thereof) dramatically affects your levels of success in every single area of your life. Focused, productive, successful mornings generate focused, productive, successful days — which inevitably create a successful life — in the same way that unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre mornings generate unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre days, and ultimately a mediocre quality of life. By simply changing the way you wake up in the morning, you can transform any area of your life, faster than you ever thought possible.”

The miracle morning is a “set of six simple, life-enhancing, life-changing daily practices, each of which develops one or more of the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your life.”

The six habits are Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing. Or SAVERS as Elrod likes to call it.

S — Silence. Start your day off with silence. This can mean taking a few deep breaths, meditating, repeating a mantra to yourself, and so on. The point of this habit is to start the day off with a calm and peaceful mind.

A — Affirmations. We all know the importance of positive self-talk. The second habit of the Miracle Morning will allow you to begin the day with encouraging words that will motivate you to go after your goals with a feeling of confidence and self-efficacy.

V — Visualizing. Take a moment to see yourself in your mind’s eye going through your day, doing what needs to be done, and making things happen. Picture yourself achieving your goals, being the person you want to be, and having the experiences you want to go through.

E — Exercise. Do some exercise to get your heart pumping and get oxygen flowing to your brain. It will wake up your body and prepare your brain to meet the challenges the day will undoubtedly bring.

R — Reading. We all know that input determines output. By adding the habit of reading to your morning routine, you’ll be starting the day by filling your brain with inspirational words and/or knowledge that will help you to accomplish your daily to-dos.

S — Scribing. The habit of journaling will allow you to clarify your thoughts and feelings by putting them down on paper.

So there you go! If you want to live a happy and fulfilled life, then you need to focus on crafting a morning routine that is going to help you achieve that.

More specifically, you need to focus on SAVERS: silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading, and scribing.

Completing these 6 simple activities first thing every morning will set the tone for an effective, successful day and, in turn, will have a profoundly positive effect on your life.
